Luxury Adventure Cab was founded by Richard Mora who was born and raised in Santa Teresa in the 80’s. In 2005 as Santa Teresa was growing in popularity, Richard saw the need for luxury transportation in an area where none existed. His idea was born, and his luxury transportation business has grown and prospered. Richard is a member of one of the founding families of Santa Teresa. He was born in 1978, grandson of Ramon Mora Porras and Teresa Zuniga Alvarado. Without speaking or understanding English, Richard established Luxury Adventure Cab. Soon after it’s founding, Richard knew he had to be able to communicate with his foreign clients. He began studying English and traveled outside of Costa Rica. In 2011, he spent several months perfecting his use of the English language in Great Britain. Now more than ever, with subsequent trips throughout the US, Israel, Canada and Mexico, Richard realizes why tourists call Santa Teresa a unique paradise on the sea.
